Yes, I realize that i have not posted since the shower! So sorry...so that means that I have so many things to share with you. But first things first, I was recently diagnosed with gestational diabetes, so with that I have to really watch my carb intake... and if you know me at all, it's not an easy task. I love food way too much, especially in this last trimester all I want to do it eat. However there is an upside, because of this development I get to see little baby Payton once a week in ultrasounds until the little person is born. Today was our first one and we found out some pretty interesting news. Our little person is not so little! She is already weighing in at 5 pounds 4oz! Plus she apparently has a large head. Her head is measuring as if I was 36 weeks and her belly is measuring as if I was 34, and I am not even 33 weeks until Sunday! I walked out of the office thinking..." and how is she coming out?" I never had those thoughts until today. Everything seemed to be fine and we will have another growth ultrasound in a week to see how she's coming along in there. We are getting so anxious to meet our little one. I can't wait! Until then we get to look at these.....
WOW! I cannot believe that I am 30 weeks already! We are getting very anxious for our little Payton to join us, only about two more months ( give or take) and she will be here. We already love her so much and just to actually see her is going to amazing. I can't wait to see Eric hold her. I think that is one of the things I am looking forward to most. He is going to be such a good dad. He has been so amazing, I don't know what I would do without him. He has been there every step of the way helping and doing whatever it is that I need, or we need. He has been to practically every doctors appointment, he even sat with me at my 3 hour glucose test, which was the most boring thing you can do. I am very lucky to have him and love him so much. This past week i guess you can say that I have been nesting:) HA HA! I have changed the babies room about three times, I am consumed with wanting everything perfect for when she arrives. I am constantly thinking of things that need to be done and really how little time we have left. I think that I have it the way it will stay now, but...who knows what next week will bring.
I figured out that it had been 6 years since I had seen mom on Christmas. The last time that we went there I was 19 years old. Boy how time just flies. Anyway, this year Eric, me, and our little bun in the oven flew to Utah to see the family. It was so nice to just be able to spend time with everyone. The last couple times that we have seen the family it seems like it has been for a quick weekend because of an event of some kind. So being able to just hang out with Mark and really getting to see how much he has grown up was so neat. Eric and I had a great time with him. And of course every time I see Amy I just wish that we lived closer, it is always hard to leave not knowing when the next time will be. Jaxton and Kayla are so adorable, and every bit as sqeezable as I thought they would be. Sally, Danny and Katey came up which was really fun as usual. I can't say same the same for thier other two kids...who were supposed to be there( hint hint.)But I guess we will see them at the wedding in October:) Mom and I went shopping a couple days while Eric went to the gym to tain for the upcoming Marathon and while we were looking for material for curtains we found the cutest organizer! I can't wait to see it all made, mom is working on for the shower. All in all it was a fast and fun trip. Me on Christmas Eve In our new Christmas Jammies
