Phil and cleaning reminds me of 1 thing...

Today I was cleaning the house and listening to Phil Vassar, which reminded me of my best friend. To this day when either of us hear Phil we think of the time in our lives when this picture was taken. We lived in our apartment and always cleaned to Phil Vassar!

Whew!

Today we had Eric's company picnic, and boy it's hotter than I thought. I was really enjoying the cool weather that we were having before...sad to see it go. The picnic was out in Scottsdale as usual but this year we brought our baby:) That just makes me smile. She and daddy had matching shirts and they looked great together! Everyone at the picnic just loved her!

Look at how much bigger she's gotten!

I cant believe that 7 weeks have gone by already. Payton has changed so much, it's unreal, I can't believe how big she is getting. She came down with a cold last week it was so hard for her to breathe because her nose was so clogged, so on Saturday our doctor sent us to the children's E.R to make sure that she didn't have RSV ( She didn't). We spent 4 hours there, and lucky for us Kerri came with to keep us company. Payton weighed 10 lb 13 oz. She is feeling much better and practicing some new skills. She really tries hard to keep her head up as long as possible, she's noticing the mobiles that hang above her in her swing and crib, she's all smiles and she found her voice yesterday. She had been cooing before, but yesterday we heard the funniest little sounds coming from her. During one of her night time feedings last night, she had fallen asleep and must have been dreaming because she made the happiest loudest coo, it was really on the verge of a laugh. It was so cute!

Family

Eric has had the last two days off and it has just been so nice to have family time together. He has been working so hard and the last couple weeks he has done over time at work, so its been so nice to have him around for 2 whole days:) Pretty much we did house work, worked out, and just played with Payton all day. It's been great!

Week three

This week she started cooing! It is so cute as soon as she does it more I can catch it on video. Her really happy time is in the morning around 10:00. This morning Eric and I were putting away laundry and Payton was just hanging out on our bed happy as can be and all of the sudden we hear this pretty loud coo. It was adorable, so then of course we stopped putting away laundry and both of us started talking to her and trying to make her do it again, and she did! I am sure she really thought we were crazy, you should have seen us we were both hovering over her talking in baby voices... Oh the things you will do:)
